Montag 17.02.25

Wir haben auf einem Campingplatz übernachtet und ich bin froh weiter zu fahren. Dieses Animationsprogramm von gestern ist doch nichts so für mich. Am Pool sitzen, Bier oder Wein trinken und sich von Musik berieseln lassen...

Die Sängerin hat dann zum Teil "angeheiterte" Männer auf die Tanzfläche geholt. Meine Partnerin sieht das leider etwas anders. So ist es aber nun mal im Leben, daß nicht jeder der gleichen Meinung ist.

We spent the night at a campsite and I'm glad to be moving on. Yesterday's entertainment programme is not for me. Sitting by the pool, drinking beer or wine and listening to music...

The singer then got some of the "tipsy" men onto the dance floor. Unfortunately, my partner sees things a little differently. But that's the way it is in life, not everyone is of the same opinion.

Nach guten 6 km kommen wir die nächste Stadt und diese ist ebenfalls wunderschön wie Adra gestern Abend. Ich biege am nächsten Kreisverkehr in Richtung Balcón de Europa ab. Wir finden einen großen Parkplatz, auf dem man 24 Stunden, also auch über Nacht stehen darf. Der Entschluss hier zu bleiben ist gefallen. Weit gekommen sind wir ja heute nicht, aber das ist nicht schlimm. Wir schauen uns die große Bucht an und machen anschließend nach dem Mittagessen in einer Pizzaria einen Badetag am Meer. Es ist wunderschön hier.

After a good 6 kilometres, we reach the next town, which is just as beautiful as Adra was last night. I turn off at the next roundabout in the direction of the Europa balcony. We find a large car park where you can park for 24 hours, including overnight. The decision to stay here is made. We haven't got very far today, but that's not too bad. We take a look at the large bay and after lunch in a pizzeria, we go for a swim in the sea. It's beautiful here.

Wir gehen abends durch Nerja. Die Altstadt mit ihren schmalen Gassen sieht richtig toll aus. Nachdem die Sonne untergegangen ist, gehen in den Gassen überall die Lichter an und das quirlige Treiben zieht uns in seinen Bann.

We walk through the old town of Nerja in the evening. The old town with its narrow alleyways looks really great. After the sun has set, the lights come on everywhere in the alleyways and the hustle and bustle casts a spell over us.

Wir finden einen Lampenladen, in dem es aussieht wie im Orient. Ich komme nicht daran vorbei und muss unbedingt dort hinein. Höflicherweise frage ich natürlich, ob ich auch im Laden zwei drei Bilder machen darf.

We find a lamp shop that looks like the Orient. I can't get past it and absolutely have to go in. Of course, I politely ask if I can take two or three pictures in the shop.

Dienstag 18.02.25

Am nächsten Tag schauen wir uns die Stadt weiter an und es gibt wieder neues zu entdecken. Balcón de Europa und die Kirche Iglesias El Salvador stehen auf dem Programm.

The next day, we continue to explore the city and there are new things to discover. Balcón de Europa and the Iglesias El Salvador church are on the programme.

Wir freuen uns, denn die Kirche ist geöffnet und wir können uns unsere erste spanische Kirche von innen ansehen.

We are delighted because the church is open and we can take a look inside our first Spanish church.

Und wieder neigt sich ein schöner Tag dem Ende entgegen. Wir gehen nochmal vor an das Meer und danach zu unserem Camper. Dort liegt unser Essen und dort zieht es uns jetzt hin. 

And another beautiful day draws to a close. We head back to the sea and then to our campervan. That's where our food is and that's where we're heading now.

Mittwoch 19.02.25

Wir fahren wieder nur ein kleines Stückchen die Küstenstraße Richtung Süden weiter und finden einen Übernachtungsplatz, auf dem schon einige Camper stehen. Wir gesehen und dazu.

We drive just a little further south along the coastal road and find a place to spend the night where there are already a few campers. We saw them and added.

Unterwegs halten wir auf der Küstenstraße und finden dieses in liebevoller Kleinarbeit aufgebautes Castle.

Donnerstag 20.02.25

Wir kommen heute in Malaga an und staunen wie groß diese Stadt ist. Einen Platz mit unserem Camper innerhalb der Stadt zu finden können wir vergessen. Nachdem wir das Stadtzentrum passiert haben, fahren wir langsam wieder Stadtauswärts. Auf der Meerseite kommt plötzlich ein großer Platz, auf dem sehr viele Camper stehen. Wir steuern diesen gleich an und finden auch noch einen freien Platz für die Nacht.

We arrive in Malaga today and are amazed at how big this city is. We can forget about finding a place to park our campervan in the city centre. After passing the city centre, we slowly drive out of town again. On the sea side, we suddenly come to a large square with lots of campers. We head straight for it and find a free pitch for the night.

Es ist sehr trüb heute und an den Bergen bleiben die Wolken hängen. In Richtung Meer ist das Wetter besser.

It's very cloudy today and the clouds are clinging to the mountains. The weather is better towards the sea.

Solche Gebäude an der Küste passen überhaupt nicht in die Landschaft und sehen fürchterlich hässlich aus. 

Such buildings on the coast do not fit into the landscape at all and look terribly ugly.

Freitag 21.02.25

Es geht weiter und wir machen diesmal einen Abstecher in das Landesinnere und wollen zu den Wanderweg Caminito del Rey und die Stadt Ronda mit ihrer berühmten Brücke besuchen. 

We continue on and take a walk in the countryside to visit the Caminito del Rey trail and the town of Ronda with its famous bridges.

Wir fahren diesmal auf einen Campingplatz direkt im Nationalpark und genießen die einzigartige Aussicht.

We drive to a campsite directly in the national park this time and enjoy the unique view.

Samstag 23.02.25

Heute wollen wir wandern und laufen in Richtung Camino del Rey. Leider erweist sich der Wanderweg für meine Partnerin als ungeeignet. Der Durchgang durch den Berg ist ein kleiner Tunnel. Sie hat Platz- und Höhenangst und ich merke, daß ich nicht genügend mit ihr über diese Tour gesprochen habe. Ich selber habe mich auch nicht ausreichend informiert, wie diese Wanderung verläuft. Sie schickt mich aber los und geht selber zum Campingplatz zurück. Es tut mir richtig leid, daß wir diese Tour nicht gemeinsam laufen können. 

Today we want to go hiking and walk in the direction of Camino del Rey. Unfortunately, the hiking trail turns out to be unsuitable for my partner. The passage through the mountain is a small tunnel. She is claustrophobic and afraid of heights and I realise that I haven't talked to her enough about this tour. I haven't done enough research myself about how this hike goes. But she sends me off and goes back to the campsite herself. I'm really sorry that we can't do this tour together.

Ich habe keine Tour gebucht, stehe am Einlass und ein Mann spricht mich an. Er bietet mir an, in seiner Gruppe mitzukommen. Ich nehme das Angebot dankbar an und es erweist sich als absoluter Glücksfall. Er spricht fließend deutsch und so erhalte ich und die anderen Deutschen und Österreicher auf der gesamten Wanderung alle Informationen. Am Einstieg der Tour gibt es für alle Personen einen Helm um den Kopf bei Steinschlägen zu schützen.

I haven't booked a tour, I'm standing at the entrance and a man approaches me. He offers me the chance to join his group. I gratefully accept the offer and it proves to be an absolute stroke of luck. He speaks fluent German and so I and the other Germans and Austrians are given all the information we need for the entire hike. At the start of the tour, everyone is given a helmet to protect their heads in the event of falling rocks.

Sonntag 23.02.25

Nach der Tour Caminito del Rey geht's heut nach Ronda. Diese Stadt wurde auf zwei gegenüberliegenden Felstableaus errichtet. Eine Brücke verbindet diese zwei Stadtteile miteinander und genau diese Brücke ist ein Anziehungspunkt für sehr viele Touristen. Die Brücke hat eine Höhe von 35 m und ist sehr sehenswert. 

After visiting the Caminito del Rey, we continue on to Ronda. This town was built on two neighbouring buildings. A road connects these two towns and the road itself is an important landmark for many tourists. The bridge has a height of 35 metres and is very pleasant.
